In Genesis Chap. 17:19, "And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him." Chap. 18:10-14; Sarah will have a son. Chap 21, Issac is born and God reminds Abraham that, vs. 12: ". . . . . . . for in Issac shall thy seed be called." Not Ishmael. Ishmael was to become the father of the Arab nation. (see Chap 16:11 & 12). From Issac came Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. He bore 12 sons who became the 12 tribes of Israel. From Jacob's son, Judah, down thru the years came Jesus.

Isaac was a biblical figure in the Old Testament and the son of Abraham and Sarah. He is considered one of the patriarchs of the Israelite people and his story is a prominent one in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
The question as posed is unanswerable since Isaac (assuming you mean the Biblical personage) does or does not do several things over the course of Genesis. It is also not clear whether we are discussing which things are most beneficial to Isaac himself or the story in general.
Assuming that you mean "Did Isaac Newton's parents divorce" or "Were Isaac Newton's parents divorced" or even "Where did Isaac Newton's parents divorce", the answer is NO. Isaac Newton's father (also named Isaac Newton) died in October of 1642, before his son was even born. His mother, Hannah Ayscough, remarried when he was two. She also survived her second husband, who died in 1653. His mother died in 1679, twice married but never divorced.
