Keith haring
Keith haring made bold colorful art. some of it he made into murals on city buildings, so you could say that one of his intentions was to improve our environment and make it a more beautiful place. A lot of his work focuses on people simplified down to just the joy of companionship and harmony in being with others, so you could say that he was trying to bring people together through his art. Other works of his he made, i believe, to spread awareness about aids, and try to find a cure. such as one piece with the inscription: Ignorance = fear, Silence = Death, Fight aids Act up"

Haring - Art in Transitjack cogginsi absolutyly hate art
True, Keith Haring's works of art do resemble art in the pop art style, however his object was different. His works of art were politically charged, and he (clearly) used a graffiti approach to his works.
He lived through a period of modern art.
Information on Keith Haring can be found through the purchase of his autobiography. The book which can be found at a local book store or through Amazon talks about Keith Haring starting as a graffiti artist and eventually selling his art and becoming a legitimate business man.
She has a Picasso, 2 prized Frida Kahlo paintings, a Leger and Andy Warhol and Keith Haring paintings that they drew just for her when she was friends with them in the 80s
Keith Haring was considered an important artist because with his art, he was able to raise awareness to AIDS related young adults and he raised a lot of money for Kids programs and AIDS foundations. :D
