There is no evidence that you can get Pokemon Fire Red for the Kindle. The Kindle has a black and white screen which would be very hard to play the game on.
The kindle fire is 7.5 inches by 4.7 inches.

There have been 5 generations of different kindle models. The current 5th generation includes the flagship Kindle 5, the Kindle paperwhite. There is also the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD which have an LCD colour screen and run on the Android operating system.
There is one way but it only works for the Kindle Fire, not the Kindle Fire HD. I have been trying for many hours to find out but sadly, no you can't. And even if you do have the Kindle Fire(not HD) you have to root it and download an app. I am still trying to find out, if I do I will get the word out.
The specifications of a Kindle Fire HD include the screen size being 7 to 8.9 inches. The screen resolution is 1280px x 800px, or 1920px x 1200px, respectively. They have 1024 MB RAM.
No, the Kindle Fire doesn't read to you. You may want to get one of the regular Kindle for that. Also, if your main purpose is reading, the e-Ink screen of the Kindle Touch works much better than the LCD screen of the Fire; it won't bother your eyes, over time, as the back-light LCD screen will do.
