LiFi is a wireless technologywhich uses a light-emitting diodes (LED's) for the transmission of data. LiFi is a technology which is used for transmission of data through illumination by taking the fib re out of fib re optics by sending data through a LED light bulb. The varies in intensity faster than human eye can fallow. LiFi is a very cheap and fast wireless communication system which is optical version of the WiFi.
How LiFi works:
Hence all that us required is some light emitting diodes and a controller that code data into those LED's. Then we have to just vary the position at which the LED's flicker depending upon the data we want to encode. Thus every light source works as a hub for data transmission.Operational Procedure is very simple, If the led is Activated, you can send a digit number '1', if its disabled you transmit a '0'. The LED's can be easily switched OFF and ON very quickly, which gives nice opportunities for sending the information.
There are basically ONLY two types of wireless technology: analog and digital. ALL "wireless" technology is radio technology.
Wireless use Wireless technology while DSL use wired technology.
