A chef has the lowest earning potential of any trade. You do however get shift penalties which can bring it up to a level where your almost breaking even after paying your weekly bus pass. You pay for your own tools which get stolen frequently and own uniforms because the bosses are money grabbing upper echelon types who only give you the slightest of respect. This is because you stink and are always covered in entrails of some kind. Members of the other sex are attracted to you briefly until the get close enough to smell the indistinguishable aroma which is not pleasant because it is a cloudy mix of all aromas and a few cleaning chemicals as an after note. Can be a fun job if you work in a happy bar.
