It is very well know because people from other fields cans also enroll them selves in it. The portion is quite similar to what u study in Bsc IT or Bsc Comps. If u opt for Msc IT it would be an advance version of what you have studied in Bsc. It is course which is catching up these days as many multinational companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Igate Patni have started recognising this degree as well as this is quite new course as compared to MCA. Both courses are good, ultimately its your decision which one you want to opt for.
