Electronics works at 5-10v supply Is it major difference between electrical electronics?

Essentaily no, it's still electicity. But electrics tend to be simpler, as they are built to give power, so need a higher voltage and mpoe amps, e.g. a light bulb is built to fill a room with light. Electronics usally tend to 'think' and compute, and dont need as mutch power, e.g. a computer. A lower voltage is easier and safer to use in appliences. Alot of items use a mixture of both, for example a timed light will use a low voltage timer, but a high voltage bulb. It is common knowledge that the early computers used 5 v as voltage source for most computers. however nowadays the normal is to decrease the voltage of operation and as a consequence reduce power requirements to do the same operations. While a PC normally run at 5 v the RAMS are running with 3v and the disk drives at 12v and 5v for the logic. The conclusion is the lower the voltage the lower the power consumption which in electronics is essential for many reasons.
