What was the summary of Macbeth?

Macbeth is a play made in 1606. It about Macbeth being king by murdering. The play started with Macbeth and Banquo meeting the witches that tell them that Macbeth shall be king. Lady Macbeth knew about that and because of her impatience, she thought about killing the king. Luckily, King Duncan had already said that he is going to Macbeth's castle. So as Lady Macbeth told Macbeth her plan to kill the king. When the mission was completed, Malcolm(king's son) fled to England. Macbeth wanted Banquo dead because he was him when they saw the witches. Banquo was dead but his son Fleance (Banquo's son) managed to escape. Lady Macbeth expected that she could handle the pressure of the murder but she couldn't, so she committed suicide. Now, Macbeth was alone, so he was frightened. He went to the witches for further explanations of what's happening. One of the witches said 'No man born of a woman shall hurt you.' Another witch continued 'But beware, since the trees are moving' Now, Macbeth was satisfied. Macduff (one of Macbeth's men) felt uncomfortable about what's happening so he fled to England to rejoin with Malcolm to make an army to attack Macbeth. Macbeth took his army and when they passed from infront of the forest, Macduff and Malcolm appeared surprisingly with their army. Macbeth said 'Don't waste your time, since no born from a woman can hurt me.' Then Macduff said 'I wasn't born, Iwas taken out by the caesarean section.' Macbeth knew it was the end of his faith so Macduff killed Macbeth and swooshed his head off holding it and said 'This what will happen to you'

What does Lady Macbeth mean by when none can call our powr to accompt in these lines from Act V of The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare?

"Pow'r", as you know, is "power" spoken in one syllable, and "accompt" is a variant spelling of "account". The phrase is easier to understand if you quote the whole sentence, "What need we fear who knows it, when none can call our power to account?" This is Lady Macbeth talking in her sleep, and what she is talking about is the murder of Duncan. "What need we fear who knows it?", she asks, "Who cares if people know we killed Duncan?" Why would she not be afraid to be branded as a murderess? Because "none can call our power to account." They won't have to give an account of how they used their power now they are king and queen. This is such a very different attitude from that voiced and acted on by Macbeth: "We but teach bloody instructions, which, being taught, return to plague the inventor." Lady Macbeth believes that being king will mean that they will not have to give an account of how they got there. Being king by whatever means will make them more secure. Macbeth knows that becoming king by violence will only invite his overthrow by violence. Becoming king by violence will make them less secure.

Does King Duncan know Macbeth wants to be king?

No. King Duncan was clueless. He admits it himself: "There's no art to find the mind's construction in the face; he was a gentleman in whom I built an absolute trust." He had no idea what was going on with Macbeth. Macbeth really expected to be named as Duncan's heir (he was after all a successful warrior unlike the feckless Malcolm) and was shocked and hurt when Duncan named Malcolm Prince of Cumberland. And then Duncan says "And now the party's at Macbeth's place!" He was, as I said, clueless.
