The marked for improvement banner that appears above answers occurs when the answer has received multiple "down-votes" by users voting that the answer does not answer the question. You will need to make a change to the answer (not a minor edit) and then the flag will automatically clear and the votes will reset. The flag can take up to 2 days to go away.
