according to the Preface what was Shelley's purpose for including fantasy and Science Fiction in the novel?
At the end of Frankenstein, Dr. Frankenstein was being chased by his creation because it wanted to know if it had a soul. The Doctor had been chased all over the world and ended up there to get as far away from the monster as possible.
It is likely because he had been exposed to the artic climate for an overly long period of time and was unable to recover from it.In the original story by Mary Shelley the monster doesn't die, he merely says he will run away to the farthest shore. In the book the monster was quite intelligent. Doctor Frankenstein, the man who made the monster, dies of exhaustion chasing and trying to kill the monster, on the ice bound ship trying to find the North Pole (or the North West passage.)
He died when Dr. Frankenstein's lab exploded. In the original book the monster didn't die, merely took himself way to the 'farthest shore.' In the movies he has died several different ways. In the original movie he was burned to death in a wind-mill.The monster dies, in the book, after killing himself with the corpse of Victor. He kills himself on a pyre (a pile of burning material, especially a pile of wood on which a dead body is ceremonially cremated). If you read the book, you will know that the creature never died. The characters that died were Victor's mother, his brother William Frankenstein, his friend (and servant of their house) Justine Moritz, his friend Henry Cerval, his wife Elizabeth Lavenza, and Victor Frankenstein (the protagonist). Most of which, besides his mother, were either killed by the monster or because of something he did.
No, he didn't even come onto the ship until he was too sick to really do anything and when he got better he died trying to stand up after he saw the monster he had created.
The novel Frankenstein addresses a couple of themes, one of which is the Nature vs Nurture controversy. Mary Shelley sides with the nurture side of the argument: that people are not what their genes dictate but how they have been trained. Because Dr. Frankenstein deserts his creation as the moment of it 'birth' and because the monster encounters rejection in all his attempts to establish family and friends it turns hostile.
In the preface to "Frankenstein," Mary Shelley mentions that she is trying to preserve the truth behind how the story was created, separate from the myths and misconceptions that have surrounded it. She aims to give insight into the circumstances and influences that led to the creation of the novel.
The story of Frankenstein is basically about some mad scientist that is trying to make a human........ and so Frankenstein's monster was made.

no
Union by trying to preserve it.
they are putting out a law to stop people from killing them
It is actually easier to preserve the whole animal rather than cutting it up and trying to preserve it. That's why when you dissect a frog, it is always in one piece and not cut up.
frankenstein is tortured by guilt whereas the monster is tortured by rejection
By trying to bring the body back to life, Dr. Frankenstein tried to transgress.
You can just keep trying. Send letters to the government ask them to HELP
The US was trying to preserve the Republic of South Vietnam; an effort that failed.
They were trying to do both, they wanted independence, and keep the rights they had, by not getting taxed and doing what they believed in
