What is Maximum Ride all about?

Maximum ride is about 6 kids who were grafted with Avian DNA, and therefore havre wings and can fly, but are constantly on the run from the evil people at "the school"( the place where they were created) and "Erasers" people who can morph into wolves (they cant live very long). the kids are

Max (maximum): 14, the oldest and leader. Has a voice in her head that tells her what to do

Fang: 14, a few months younger than Max

Iggy: 14, the best cook, blind from a surgery to improve his eyesight but failed. Good with anything that has to do with explosives, fire, or picking locks.

Nudge: 11, talks your ear off (called "the nudge channel" by the other 5) can touch an object and see wat recently happened involving it.

Gazzy: 8, can mimic any voice, is Iggy's trainee bomb maker, and has extreme farts

Angel: 6, the youngest, gets kidnaped by erasers in the first book, can breath under water
