The Great Dark Spot was a very dynamic weather system, generating large, white clouds similar to high-altitude cirrus clouds on Earth. Unlike cirrus clouds on Earth, which are composed of crystals of water ice, Neptune's cirrus clouds are made up of crystals of frozen methane. Neptune's clouds are driven by winds of 1,200 mph, the fastest winds of any planet in the Solar System. How such high-velocity winds come to be on a planet so far from the Sun is still a deep mystery.
I think because something landed on the neptune and then the great dark spot is the hole.
The famous "dark spot" in Neptune was a storm that a probe spotted when it flew past in 1989. Five years past, and the storm was over.
They are storm spots that come and go.
Storms
Neptune itself is cold the dark spot is like the red spot on Jupiter is a storm

The Great Dark spot on Neptune is a huge storm with tempestuous winds of 500 MILES PER HOUR
There are two. Jupiter and Neptune.

Yes, Neptune does. There is another smaller dark spot called The Small Dark Spot, a southern cyclonic storm, which is also the second-most-intense storm. It is intially dark, but has a bright center core. Other dark spots are formed in Neptune's troposphere.
neptune is like a dark blue ish with a bit of purple to go with it .
No, sunspots are on the sun. Neptune does have a big dark spot, but it's not a sunspot.
The Great Dark spot on Neptune is a huge storm with tempestuous winds of 500 MILES PER HOUR
Neptune's great dark spot appears to be a giant cyclone. It is about the same size as the Earth.
Yes it does. The spot is called 'The Great Dark Spot'
