New Mecha - (Pronunced as "New Mecka"). "New Mecha" is the acronym for "New Music Electronic Computer Heterodyne Applications". This new type of music is often refered to, but mistaken for electronica. In the way in which this new music or "New Mecha" is produced, often with a broadbase of high end technology regarding software driven sounds and/or voice modules, the musician utilizes a variety of instruments including keyboard sounds in which the music is destinguished by very progressive and smooth formats by which more than several frequncies of sounds are mixed to create melodical beats or phrases which are used to create songs and/or instrumentals. "New Mecha" can also be looked at as a New form of Jazz or "New Millinium Jazz" were by some instruments that have been used in such past ensembles (i.e acoustic guitar, acoustic piano, various wind isntruments and percussion) can be easily identified and relative to a Jazz theme as these instruments are noted.
