"X-Metal" is a mixed metal Oakley makes it contains 25 different types of metal althought Titanium is one that they use a little higher precentage, they are made below sea level due to extreme temperatures and the cooling process if any moisture hits the metal before its cool it will explode. they also use a special type of mold that has to be made for every pair due to the heat it destroys the molds each time one pair is made.
