The BX stamp on a ring is probably just a jeweler's signature marking. It does not indicate value or purity of the ring.
A stamp on jewelery is usually the jewelers stamp (initials of the jeweler). It is used to identify the manufacturer of the piece.
What does pL mean on inside of ring
I think you are talking about the inscription on the diamond...This is used so that if you ever give your jewelry to a jeweler you will be able to know for sure if he did not switch your diamond with a fake.
It should be a PL followed by three digits (akin to PL 999). Its meaning is "PlataLey 999" which stands as the amount of pure silver in your jewelry. For example, PL 850 means your jewelry has 85% of pure silver; the rest can be other metals such as zinc, tin or copper.
There is not a stamp for jewelry that is 950. The stamp is .925 and it means the jewelry is sterling silver
The full mean of pl is "physical layer." It refers to the first layer in the OSI model of computer networking and is responsible for the transmission and reception of raw data between devices.
Jeweler
"18K" should be stamped on the inside of a ring band or near the clasp of a bracelet or necklace if it is 18 karat gold. No stamp may mean it is custume jewelry or the stamp may be worn off. A jeweler can authenticate a piece for you if you are unsure.
It means that the internet wont have an answer and you will waste alot of time trying to research the jewelry with an E1 stamp and not find sh*t. Then a reputable jeweler will probably rob you blind for it.
What does it mean if a silver colored bracelet has the letters pl 18k? Normally, a stamp of "18k" indicates the purity of gold in a piece of jewelry. I would think the bracelet is white gold, not silver.
