No. RIMM only works with RD-Ram boards. Different memory have different pins

Unfortunately, DIMM and RIMM memory are not compatible. Essentially, only memory designed for specific slots will work on the particular motherboard.

RIMM memory is more expensive than DIMM memory, but is capable of greater access speeds.

RIMM (Rambus inline memory module)

Type your answer here... Rambus Inline Memory Module

Memory called RDRAM that conforms to the RIMM form factor.

RIMM is more expensive and less popular because of how old it is.

RAMBUS, (RIMM). You need a license just to use this type of memory module. Not just anyone could use it you have to get permission.

DIMM (Dual Inline Memory Module), RIMM, SIMM (Single Inline Memory Module)

The aluminum plate attached to a RIMM provides heat dissipation. It allows the memory to work at higher frequencies without overheating.

You can not use RIMM memory in a DIMM type Motherboard, or vise versa. Although they pretty much do the same job, they work in different ways.

List three kinds of memory modules? DIMM (dual inline memory), RIMM (random inline memory), and SIMM (single inline memory)

RIMM stands for Rambus in-line memory module. The speed of a RIMM is measured in MHz Speeds ranges from 533 MHz up to 800 MHz

SIMM (Single inline memory module), DIMM (Dual inline memory module), and RIMM (Rambus inline memory module)

RIMM (Rambus in-line memory module) - as opposed to a DIMM (dual in-line memory module). Also referred to as an RDRAM module.

A 100 Mhz motherboard uses SDRAM, DDR, DDR2 and RIMM technology memory.

It is the RIMM that come with the heat spreader with the aluminum plate

"In a computer, a RIMM is a memory module developed by Kingston Technology Corp. that takes up less space inside the computer than the older DIMM module and has different pin characteristic

its a rambhous inline memory module. its a type of memory slot which has beed used earlier.. now a days we are using dimm slots (dual inline memory module)..
