Yes, RWS is a legitimate company.
RWS Group was created in 1961.
See the link below. RWS 850 and Hammerli 850 are the same rifle.
A web search will get you RWS contact information. You will have to ask them who they have making scopes for them with their brand on.
It's the same for most all RWS models. (See the link below)
CD-Rs and CD+Rs are not, but CD-RWs and CD+RWs are. You will need to check your burner to see if you need + or -.
RWS is currently distributed by UMAREX Co. I would contact them at the link below and ask for assistance.
RWS has been made by several other air gun manufactures. Diana has made several for them over the years. Right now I think it's the Diana RWS 350 Feuerkraft that is rated at 1250 FPS. But if you are looking at power not speed, then the RWS CA-715 fired a .22 cal at 1200 FPS. It look just like a ShinSung Career 707 made in Korea. RWS also had a CA-707 that fired a 9MM pellet.
I believe you are asking about a RWS Diana 45 model. It was manufactured from 1988 to 2000. I found some information on the Links Below. Today UMAREX is the distributor for RWS. I would try to contact them (At the link below) and ask for a manual.
