Well, Winnie the Pooh's first appearance was in the novel "Winnie the Pooh" by A. A. Milne in 1926, so I guess that makes it in 2026. Oh bother.
Winnie the Pooh was written by a British author A.A. Milne, born in London, and based the character Winnie the Pooh on a Canaidan bear named after the City of Winnipeg in Manitoba. So you could say Winnie the Pooh was British or Canadian.

I don't think so.
After eating a gluttonous amount of honey at Rabbit's house, Pooh gets stuck trying to leave because his belly is so full and round. After much consultation and hand-wringing, it is decided that pooh will eat no more honey until his belly is small enough to fit through the door to allow him to leave Rabbit's house.
Well a Bruin is a bear, and A.A. Milne wrote Winnie the Pooh, so the crossword answer should be POOH.
A. A. Milne. A. A Milne made Winnie the pooh famous when he discovered a baby black in a zoo named Winnie (short for Winnipeg. His son Christopher robin had been with him that day and was holding his stuffed yellow bear named Edward bear. When Christoper robin saw Winnie he thought he was so cute that he decided to name his bear this name: Winnie the bear. But then Christopher robin thought and said that he wanted something different then Winnie the bear. So thought that maybe Winnie the pooh would do. So when Christoper robin told his Dad that, he thought of the best idea. He thought he should write books about Winnie the pooh! The books were GREAT. :)
Reasonably so - He was created in 1924
