What is skyclan in warriors?

In the popular book series Warriors, Skyclan is the fifth clan of the forest, that was driven out of the forest long ago because Twolegs destroyed their teritory. In the book Firestar's Quest, Firestar goes on a quest to rebuild Skyclan and eventually succeeds.

Leafstar is leader of SkyClan. She is working with her clan to make it stronger. Leafstar is always confused if she is doing the right thing with her clan. Billystorm is a daylight warrior, a kitty pet who is in the clan only during the day. He and Leafstar fall in love, but sadly, Leafstar realizes she can't be dealing with a mate while trying to balance the clan.

Four cats come to the clan one day. There names are Coal, Shorty, Cora, and Stick. Leafstar notices something weird about them. They work together with the clan, help a lot, and are finally named warriors. But, they do not want real warrior names. Leafstar figures out that her deputy, Sharpclaw, and the visitors are doing secret training at night. Leafstar tracks them down, and figures out that Stick is teaching them to fight in Twoleg place.

Leafstar agrees to helping the visitors claim what's there's at their twoleg place. Dodge, an enemy to the visitors, has been stealing their prey. SkyClan goes to attack Dodge and his cats. Stick sees his daughter, Red. He has been terribly hurt that she is being mean to him, and is following Dodge. Red is in love with Harley, one of Dodge's cats. Stick goes to attack Harley, and Red gets in the way. He kills his own daughter.

SkyClan fights, and leaves the visitors at their home. No one really won, but Dodge won't be bothering Cora, Coal, Shorty, and Stick any time soon.

Leafstar realizes that she and her deputy had grown apart, and now are coming back together. She realizes what her clan's destiny is. At the end of the book, Leafstar goes up to Billystorm. When they're about to start talking, it ends! What will happen next?

SkyClan is one of the five original Clans in the "Warriors" series by Erin Hunter. It is known for valuing agility and hunting skills, and its members are skilled at hunting birds. SkyClan was driven out of the forest and faced many trials before eventually being welcomed back into the Clans.
