∙ 14y agoIt means at the chicken farm they will send you x-number of chicks you ordered without trying to determine whether you are getting males or females. For most breeds it's very hard to tell anyway in very young chicks. If you get a straight run of 25 chicks, odds are you're getting about a dozen little hens and a dozen little roosters.
