It's about a girl named Melanie who becomes...I suppose 'possessed' is the right word here, by an alien named Wanderer. It's not your typical sci-fi, because the aliens have invaded, and we lost.
It's tough reading at the start because it is all internal conversation between Melanie and Wanderer, but it does develop into a love story.
