Venus is classified as a planet
A carnivorous plant.
Venus is classified as a terrestrial planet because it is similar in size and composition to Earth. It is also classified as an inferior planet because its orbit is closer to the Sun than Earth's orbit.
The deepest canyon on Venus is called Devana Chasma. It is classified as a rift zone formed by tectonic processes.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars and Pluto (considered to be rocky most of the time) are classified as the rocky planets.
Terrestrial planets are mercury, venus earth, mars. Also called as rock planets.
Please define bigger. If you mean which is more massive, Uranus is about 14.5 earths, compared to Venus which is 0.8 earths. If you mean which takes up more space, Uranus is over 63 earths, compared to Venus, only 0.85 earths. So in both cases, it's Uranus.
They are classified as terrestrial planets. The other grouping is called the gas giant planets.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the four terrestrial planets in this solar system."Terrestrial" planets are the rocky planets; Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. The terrestrial planets are the inner planets, which are:MercuryVenusEarthMarsVenus!! I got it from study islandA. Jupiter B. MarsC. UranusD. The SunThe answer is B, Mars.------The four inner, rocky planets are also known as the terrestrial planets. These are; Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.
yes. The order of the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto (now classified as a dwarf planet.)
There are 8 planets(Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus and Neptune) now because Pluto has been classified as a Dwarf Planet.
Saturn in terms of planets. The order of the planets, from the sun outward, goes: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, {Asteroid Belt}, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto( Not classified as a planet anymore)
Venus is mistaken to be classified as earth's "twin planet" its mainly because it is only a couple hundred kilometers smaller then earth. but it has a lot of differences. Venus is an extremely hostile planet for life to harbor. it has a thick atmosphere of sulfuric clouds that traps the heat in the atmosphere. If it is the "twin planet" of earth would it supposed to sustain life?
