No, Armie Hammer is not single.
A REAL good description! Including pump, hammer, auto, single, double, gauge, serial, writing, etc.
I'm guessing it is a single shot break open shotgun with an exposed hammer. Made sometime after 1900 and worth $50-$100 depending on condition.
BRIDGE GUN COMPANY Tradename used by Shapleigh Hardware of St. Louis, Missouri on shotguns made by Crescent Fire Arms Company c. 1893-1930.
SINGLE? external hammer? The other is not missing? If this is a double it could be one of several models sometimes determined by the serial no because of quantity made but otherwise a good description is needed. Remington did not make a single external hammer shotgun. If you think this is incorrect send me mail/picture hit the service desk at the Remington Society of America and mail comes to me. http://remingtonsociety.com
Provide a detailed description including gauge, barrel length, all markings, overall condition and finish.
Either WH Davenport Arms Co or Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works.
Your serial number indicates that you have a Fox sterlingworth 16ga.shotgun.These shotguns were made from 1910-1942.The value of these shotguns on a percentage basis will be from 300-1,000 dollars depending on the finish remaining being between 10%-80%of the original finish remaining, and a good set of bores.Because you have a 16Gauge shotgun you may add 50% to the above stated values. You may also add 25% if your shotgun has a single trigger.
