approx. $8.50
No fair posting this again. My answer is the same - if I or anyone else knew what the future would bring numismatically, I'd be putting away quite a set for my children.
Only if you have the other 49 pennies in the set.
The Abraham Lincoln penny with him sitting on a log reading a book is part of the "Formative Years" series of the Lincoln Bicentennial penny designs released in 2009. In circulated condition, this penny is typically worth face value (1 cent), but in uncirculated condition or as part of a set, it may be worth a few dollars to collectors.
You've got to be more specific. Please give the country of origin and more information like that. The only country I know right off the top of my head that issued a silver penny in 1962 would be the UK which issues a Maundy set every year that includes a silver penny. These are collectors items and the penny by itself would be worth about $15-25 or so, but most of the time they are sold as a set.
The value depends upon the condition of each coin in the set but it could be worth as much as $3000 for higher grade coins.
To set things straight there's no such coin.> Indian, not "indain"> Penny, not "pennie"> Indian Head OR wheat but not "Indian Head Wheat"Indian Head cents were made from 1859 to 1909. Wheat cents were made from 1909 to 1958. They're completely different. There are pictures at many sites - www.coinfacts.com is one place to look.
contains 1 dollar, half dollar, dime, nickel, and penny
If you can't locate it in the stamp in the bottom then you have a pretty cheap china set and shouldn't even be looking for it. China that is worth a pretty penny will have a date on it.
It all depends on what type of penny is it. If they are all regular non-errored pennies then your set is worth $.99. If it includes a book/holder it may be worth a little more. If you have a 1943 copper penny, 40 exist in the world today, they are worth over $100,000 per penny. It all depends on which pennies you have. The above is the rarest for 1900-1999. Check frequently websites on rare us coins.
One cent, they are common, not an error and not made out of even copper.
In general, wheat cents from that time period are very common and sell for about a nickel apiece at retail. The only exception is a 1955 "double die" cent, which has 2 images slightly misaligned on the front side. It appears almost like a ghost image on a badly adjusted TV set. This error is generally pretty obvious to the naked eye. If verified, a 1955 double die cent can be worth up to $900.
The first decimal coins were issued in a blue uncirculated set it included a half- penny , penny , two pence, five pence and a ten pence coin In absolutely mint condition it could fetch up to 4 pounds but usually 2.50 pounds
