Did you look at any of the other $20 bills that come out of any ATM? They all have that feature, and it's a stylized eagle - not a "leaf". It uses special color-shifting inks to serve as a security feature.
Its estimated worth is $12.00MoreNote this ISN'T an official US product, though. It's a standard $2 bill that was modified by adding the Navy hologram to turn it into a keepsake / memento.
The great majority of Wisconsin quarters are only worth face value. A small number of them appear to have a extra leaf on the corn stalk. These are worth considerably more; see the Related Question for more information.
This is a novelty item produced by a private company that added gold leaf to a normal $2 bill and then sold it at a significant markup as a so-called "collectible". Unfortunately there's very little demand for these items on the secondary market so you'd be very unlikely to get back even a reasonable fraction of the original selling price, sorry to say.
Bills that have been modified by private companies are considered to be damaged goods by most banknote collectors, and thus have no added value. These items are marketed as "instant collectibles" but the resale market for them is very small. You may be able to find a niche collector who has some interest.

This is a novelty item produced by a private company that added gold leaf to a normal $2 bill. The gold "accents" make it an altered item with no added numismatic value, although there are novelty-item collectors who may pay a bit extra for one of these bills if it's in its original packaging. The bad news is that depending on its series letter, an UN-altered 1928 $2 bill could be worth well into 3 figures. You just have to hope that the company that added the gold leaf had someone make sure none of the particularly valuable ones were altered.

Just like modern US $1 coins, modern Canadian dollars are made of a gold-colored base metal, not real gold. Your coin is an ordinary circulation coin worth face value only, about US$0.98 as of late 2010.
They are worth about £2.00!
