Cruzeiro was the unit of currency in Brazil from 1942-1994. Brazil is a Portuguese speaking country, where 'mil' is the word for one thousand, so this note is a Brazil 1000 Cruzeiros.
The 1000 cruizeros was printed at various times from 1963. Thanks to rampant hyper-inflation, the currency was devalued six times in 30 years, so the old notes are not legal tender. The currency since 1994 has been the 'Real'.
Most issues of this note are worth very little, even in Uncirculated quality, with the exception of the 1978 series, which is worth $32-50.
Brazil re-valued it's currency in 1994 from the Cruzeiros to the Real, with an exchange rate of 2750:1. Old notes can still be exchange at Brazilian banks, but a 1000crz note is only worth $0.20.
The value of a mint condition uncirculated note would depend on it's age. The most recent issue (1993) would be worth about $2 while a 1961 one could be worth $25. Modern used notes are effectively worthless.
Nothing at this point.
