Burqueños is plural. Although it's a controversial term, a "Burqueño" is a male who comes from Albuquerque, NM. His female counterpart is a "Burqueña". Also, the word "Burque" is local slang for Albuquerque. There are many people in the city who hate these terms and refuse to use them, while others are fiercely proud of them.
