Jesus gave a commission to the church in Matthew Chapter 28 when he said " Go ye therefore into all the world and preach the gospel, teaching them all things whatsoever I have commanded you, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost". This is the work of the church. In the 12th chapter of Ecclesiastes one reads, " Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man".

Matthew 28:18-20. our mission as Christians is to conciliate humans for God in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost. 2 Corinthians 5:19-20

What is your mission as Christians?

Speaking for Jehovah's Witnesses as Christians; we actually call it a 'com-mission'; or a 'mandate' from Christ Jesus. Our mission is found in Matthew 28:19:20, to witt: "All authority has been given Christ Jesus; THEREFORE - - GO - - Go make disciples of people of all nations; Baptize them; TEACH them all the commands of Jesus." Jesus and the early Christians actually did this, by their house-to-house ministry. There are other mandates also, but the above is Christians MAIN commission. This is the mission of Jehovah's Witnesses as Christians.
