It is something akin to (Familiar spirits) the subject is discussed in the book (Martyrdom of an Empress) about the Empress Elisabeth of Austria. sometime in The early 90"s The empress and one of her female aides had a possible run-in with a (Kourigan) in a semi-deserted castle they were more or less camping out(IN_ camping _in is morpe like it. my guess that anecdote was ficitonal but it is where I ran acorss the term Tghey also menioned the Farfadet, some other ghostly angle.
