  • Bit --The smallest unit. It can only represent the values 1 and 0.
  • Byte --8 bits.
  • Kilobyte (KB) --1024 bytes.
  • Megabyte (MB) --1024 Kilobytes.
  • Gigabyte (GB) --1024 Megabytes.
  • Terrabyte (TB) --1024 Gigabytes.

they are increments of data storage capacity. in order from smallest to biggest a KB is the smallest, MB is bigger than that, GB is bigger, and TB is the biggest.
