Instamatic is the brand name for the self loading Kodak camera that came out in 1962. I guess the automatic function (taking pictures instantly) was a new thing at the time and that's why it was called Instamatic.

It has a little value, about $5 to $20. I would consider keeping it though.

My guess is that it's not worth much more than some its parts. Those projectors have old-technology plastic gears. To quote www.kodakparts.com: "The most common problem with these projectors is that the little plastic gear disintegrates. " I have one right now this happened to. It would cost $195 to have it fixed!
