I play the fun way. Put the board so that one of the giant pots at each end is facing each player. Your goal is still to get as many marbles in the pot as possible, but turns last longer. What happens is you pick up a pile (I play where, if it is a FOLDING manacala board, there are 6 holes on each side, plus the big ones, right? so on the to front ones we put 2 in and in all the back ones 3) and move it all around the board. If you land in yours, then you get to go again, but picking from your HALF. Not side, like you play in the normal version. However, when your turn first starts you can pick from wherever you want. If you land in a space with marbles in it then you can pick that up and keep going. But your turn finally ends when you land in an empty space, then it's the next person's turn. The BEST move playing that way is above your hole on the right, the second one up, is the BEST move. When you land in yours first, you pick the one into yours, then the 2, then the one, then the 4 (the highest one on the left in your half), then the one into yours, then the 1, and after that move no matter what you do next your turn will end.
