Timney makes a great aftermarket trigger for the Remington model 700,that will fit your Remington model 722 rifle.
Value depends a lot on condition. S.P. Fjestad's current BLue Book of Gun Values places a Remington 722 in 90% condition at $300 + 20% for the .257 caliber = $360. Hope this helps, Shrigg
You will not likely find a Remington stock. I put my 722 in a Bell and Carlson stock and I love it.
no there are some minor adjustments to the safety area
That really depends on the condition. Take it to a gunsmith or appraiser or go to auctionarms.com to get an idea of what they are selling for.

A Remington model 722 chambered in 222 Rem.caliber will bring between 550-650 dollars in the condition that you describe on today,s market.I own 2 model 722 rifles and will not sell either one. They shoot wonderfully, have a great trigger, and fit me like a glove.
The Remington model 722 rifles were made from 1948-1962.To get the exact year of production,Remington used a barrel date letter code which can be found just ahead of the receiver on the barrel. This will be a 2,or 3 letter code. Then go to Remington,s web site and find the letter code system and date your rifle to the correct year.I have 2 Remington model 722 rifles, one in 300Savage caliber and the other in .244 Rem.caliber and would not sell either one. They are wonderful and accurate rifles. If you are asking about a Remington model 722 bolt action rifle? Then the letter code which can be found on the barrel will date your rifle for you.Get the 2,or 3 letter code and go to Remington arms Company and look up the letter code by year. I don't think Remington Arms Company has it on their web but the Remington Society of America does, see related links.

Depends on condition, caliber, exact version, but somewhere in the $500-$600 range,
Depends on condition. It could be worth around $600-700 depending on condition or if you have custom stock on it or any other work done to it. Just by itself in perfect condition I would guess around $600 in today's market.
