Cemented tuff becomes bound together from processes similar to those that form ordinary sedimentary rocks. Grains are bound together under pressure as minerals dissolved in water crystallize.

This would be called a conglomerate! Any sedimentary rock that is comprised of clasts and held together within a fine grained matrix is called a conglomerate. There is no other name for rocks like this except for conglomerate

A Rock!. Igneous rocks
Sedimentary rocks are made from particles called sediment. They are made from layers of sediment (small particles) on the bottom of rivers or seas. The sediments are compressed as more layers build on top of them. The particles then become cemented together to form solid rocks. The layers of rock are called strata. Sedimentary rocks have a grainy structure and they easily crumble.
This happens because the rock cycle keeps occuring and every time the rock cycle happens the sedimentary rock comes together better and will eventually be a solid mass of sediment
The basic division of sedimentary rocks is into clastic and chemical rocks. Clastic rocks are formed when grains form a sediment and are then cemented together, as happens with sandstone or shale. Chemical rocks form when solid precipitates out of solution, for instance when calcium carbonate is formed from sea water to give chalk.
