They are also considered to be more intelligent than other breeds, this intelligence can be picked up from their resourcefulness (opening cupboards with their paws, attemtping to open cans also) though I have seen this is common domestics (Im unsure whether my Siamese has taught her or she learnt herself - she opens cupboards with her mouth). Siamese can have cross-eyes also and this is not a genetic fault, they had cross eyes before they had straight eyes, the cross eyes were "corrected".
