physio logical strucutre
It will go in the default tablespace of the user that creates the object.
Alter tablespace is the command
A tablespace is a logical storage unit that contains segments, like tables and indexes, while a table is the structure within a database that stores data in rows and columns. Tables are stored within a tablespace, which provides the physical storage for the table's data.
tablespace, segment, extent, oracle blocks.. are the logical schema of a database
Yes,use EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL AUTOALLOCATE while creating tablespace.
The data file cannot be recovered.
For performance. Truncate will release the tablespace used by the table that the data is being removed from and delete will not release this space.
in 10g sysaux is new tablespace is present in 9i it is now present while in import and export any database in 10g impdp and expdp (data pump ) like facility is present

The major differences are- In 9i merge , insert all, case is introduced . In 9i newdatatype called timestamp In 9i you can moniter index using alter index <index name> monitering usage or u can check user_objects table from system user. In 9i new performance monitering tools called STATPACK . In 9i You can dynamically change init ora parameter using alter system <parameter> scope=/path/ of your spfile/pfile In 9i new concept for undo transaction called UNDO tablespace In 9i by default TEMP tablespace is considering while creating new oracle users In 9i new partition called LIST
The number of data files in oracle database is controlled by the initialization parameter DB_FILES setting this value too high can cause DBWR issues. before 9i maximum no of datafiles in a oracle database is 1022 after 9i and this limit is applicable to the no of data files in a tablespace.
Nothing different than from a basic set.. Difference is the quality of the pieces... and possibly the tablespace of the game will be very high end quality wood or at least beter than the cheap stuff. But if its the very high end set.. it can be worth $$.> i would pay $200-$500 for a perfect set tht has the drawers and the pieces are silver & gold.
