if you mean "Valhalla" this is an Norse or Viking version of "heaven" reserved for heroes who died fighting. Those who died a "natural" death moped round a rather dull afterlife, In Valhalla the heroes had a wild drinking party all night and fought each other to the death all day (only to be healed for the night's festivities). the purpose of the fighting was to train for Ragnarok, the final battle at the end of time between the gods (the heroes fought for the gods) and the giants. The gods are slated to loose the battle but the heroes didn't seem to care.
