"Victorian times" covers a 64 year period from 1837 to 1901, so we will pick 1850.

One Shilling GBP in 1850 had the purchasing power of about £3.83 GBP today.

A Victorian Shilling is a Shilling coin (of 12 Pence) that was issued during the reign of Queen Victorias and has an image of Queen Victoria on the obverse (front). They were issued from 1838 to 1901 inclusive.

The same naming convention apply to other Monarchs, ie. Edwardian, Georgian, etc.

The Shilling (12 Pence) did not yet exist in 14th century England, but if it had -

12 Pence GBP in 1350 had the purchasing power of about £20.00 GBP today.

NOTE - This historical conversion is the result of many calculations and considerations by a purpose designed program for which I can take no credit. The resulting answer should only be regarded as an approximation.
