∙ 13y agoBad Egg is a terrible glitch that will ruin your game. It never hatches, and when and if it does, it'll hatch into either a Shiny Mew or MissingNo., which is the only glitch worse than the Bad Egg. Some people that have AR or Pokesav or whatever will program their Bad Eggs to hatch into different Pokemon. I saw a video on YouTube once where a guy made an AR code to give him a Bad Egg that held an item and had the Frozen status problem. After a few steps, it hatched into a shiny Rotom in spin form. Then, when he looked at his team, the same Bad Egg was still there! O_O (he had the code in the description)

∙ 13y agoA Bad Egg is a phenomenon present in the Generation III and Generation IV Pokémon games that results from a corruption of Pokémon data so that the checksum does not match up with the data's calculations. Sometimes, Bad Eggs can transform into invisible shiny Bulbasaur.
Bad Eggs aren't even Pokemon eggs because they rarely ever hatch and can't be released.
Don't try to hack for them as they sometimes can corrupt/erase data.
