Not sure about a barameter but a barometer measures atmospheric pressure. Domestic versions are often used for short term weather forecasting.

A barometer measures air pressure. Hope this helps you.

Ebay has one for up for bid for 26.99. This is a good barameter.
1 hectopascal (hPa) ≡ 100 Pa ≡ 1 mbar and also: standard atmospheric pressure is 101,325 Pa = 101.325 kPa = 1013.25 hPa = 1013.25 mbar
A barometer measures air pressure, which can be affected by static electricity. Changes in air pressure can create conditions conducive to static electricity buildup. High static electricity levels can be generated in low-pressure weather systems, while grounded conductors can help dissipate static electricity in high-pressure systems.
When you have the same weather (high or low pressure region) then 1000 ft higher on top of a hill you will have lower barameter reading. On the hill there is not so much air over you. That's why there must be less pressure on you and on the barometer.
One may think that the obvious answer here would be a microscope. However, after many years as a microbiologist, I have learned that it takes more than just a microscope. A good screwdriver to tinker with the scope every once in a while is good also. Some of us use incubators and autoclaves. Some of our other gadgets have moving parts. These all need to be maintained. Our bacteria need to be kept warm, our viruses need to be kept cold; thus, a thermometer is a necessary tool. A pH meter, a dissolved oxygen meter, the list can go on and on. So, please don't think that a microscope is the only tool we rely on .
