These cameras use a special bayonet mount to attach to an "exposure body" where the shutter actually is, and a bayonet shutter that closes the opening in the camera body that is in front of the film. This is required so that the film does not get exposed to light when removing the camera body from the exposure body. Not sure if these are still made, but there were some Olympus models.
