All black holes have a singularity at their center. A singularity in a black hole is a location where the density of matter is infinite, at such a location physics equations give incomprehensible nonsense answers. (singularities occur in pure mathematics also, where for various reasons usable answers cannot be obtained from the equations: e.g. singular matrices)

  • in Static and Charged black holes this singularity is an infinitesimal point.
  • in Rotating black holes this singularity is a rapidly spinning ring.

No one knows, what is inside the singularity of a black hole, but the singularity has no height, depth, volume, but infinite density. It is so dense, that when you get within a certain range of it, light itself isn't fast enough to escape it's pull.

The singularity is the very middle of a black hole, where spacetime curvature is infinite. A singularity can be a single point (in a non-rotating black hole) or a ring (in a rotating black hole). A singularity also has an infinite density.

Strictly speaking, no, a black hole itself is not a singularity; in this context the singularity is one part of a black hole. It's the location at the center where all the black hole's mass is concentrated.

This can be found at the center of a black hole. This point has infinite density. This is where all attracted matter crushes together.

The singularity of a black hole is at its centre, where the gravitational force is so strong that it causes matter to have an infinite density.

Is a black hole know as a singularity?

No the singularity is at the core of the black hole.

What is the radius of a black hole singularity?

If it had a radius, then it wouldn't be a singularity. The event-horizon surrounding a black hole has a radius, which depends on the black hole's mass. But the singularity itself has no radius.

Where will you go if you fall in to a black hole?

Into the black hole's singularity.

IS there anything behind a black hole?

There is no "behind" a black hole. A black hole is not a circular disk. The event horizon is spherical, with a singularity at the center. That singularity is an infinitely dense point.

What could be there inside a blackhole?

Technically there is no 'inside' to black holes. But the event horizon is the point at which you can no longer escape the gravitational pull of a black hole. Inside of the event horizon no body knows what there is. The truth is, a lot of things like this are all theory. But what you can expect to find at the very center is a singularity. A singularity is a point, just a point, with no height, length or width that has mass. A singularity is what 'powers' a black hole, it is what 'sucks' everything in.

Is a black hole known as a singularity?

No, they are not the same. A singularity would be inside a black hole.

What is present inside a black hole?

It is impossible to know what is present inside a black hole, though it is theorized that a singularity is located at its centre.

Is a blackhole also known as a singularity?

Not exactly. The singularity is in the center of the black hole. Somewhat like a peach pit is in the center of the peach but it isn't the peach but part of it.

What is in the middle of a black hole?

In the middle of a black hole, there is a single point of matter called a singularity. This is where space-time actually stops and nothing is beyond this point. Anything and everything that gets sucked up in the black hole goes here.

How is a black hole generated?

A black hole is a star that has collapsed into a tiny point known as a singularity.
