how old is my cable piano serial #357773
stand in front of the keys with the lid lifted. Slide the 1 foot by 5 feet panel lying on the top of the piano, under the lid. Can't miss the serial number.
According to the "pierce piano atlas" (11th edition) that piano was manufactured between 1924-25.
The Cable-Nelson Piano you own according to your serial number was built in Chicago in 1909. This was 4 years after Nelson joined the company in 1905, and before the company turned it's Nelson Line in to their lower line of pianos which was the era of the Everett piano, this happened before they started to build their pianos at a new factory in South Bend, Michigan.
