A calendar spread is an options strategy involving the simultaneous purchase and sale of options of the same class and strike price but with different expiration dates.
Technically it's not the christian calendar, but the roman calendar. All the months are named after greek/roman gods. same with the days of the week. During the time of Christ(0 A.D.) Romans ruled over virtually the whole world. They spread their culture and language(latin) throughout their kingdom. And I don't think the whole world runs off this calendar. The Chinese calendar is at like 7000 thousand years i think.
the Gregorian calendar
Typically one, but sometimes spread over two calendar years. It depends when a show runs from. Some may start in the autumn and run through winter and into spring. Others may be within the one calendar year.
No, the 2012 calendar has its dates on the same days of the week at the 1984 calendar and the 2040 calendar. The 2000 calendar is likewise the same as the 1972 calendar and the 2028 calendar.

Dates are given with reference to the birth of Jesus of Nazareth [c. 7-4 B.C.E. - c. A.D. 30] in the Christian calendar. Christians believe in the existence of Jesus as the part human, part divine Messiah. That belief spread with the spread of Christianity, especially throughout Europe and the Americas. Along with the belief came the calendar. The calendar has worldwide use because of the worldwide spread of Christianity and because of the high level of economic and political development that's linked with countries where Christianity has a foothold. But there actually are different systems for identifying dates in the past, present, and future. The Christian system of dating is just one of quite a few competing calendars still in effect today. For example, the Jewish calendar identifies as year 1 the equivalent of 3760 B.C.E. in the Christian calendar. So the Jewish system of dating begins in the year that Judaism recognizes as the creation of the world. The Islamic calendar identifies as year 1 the equivalent of July 622 in the Christian calendar. So the Muslim system of dating begins with the flight from Mecca to Medina of their prophet, Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah [570-June 8, 632].
