To show or not show the status bar: click on View and tick Status Bar to enable, remove tick to disable. The status bar appears at the foot of the Calc spreadsheet.
The cell address of the active cell is represented by its column letter followed by its row number. For example, if the active cell is located in the first column and the first row, its address would be A1. If the active cell is in the third column and the fifth row, it would be C5. You can find the active cell's address in the Name Box located to the left of the formula bar in Excel.
