if you are a beginner on the bass a good bass would be a squier affinity series jazz bass or precision bass. the jazz bass has a slimmer neck than the p bass but the p bass is a better bass for crunchy tone . i got the pbass.
A cheap brand of acoustic bass guitars is Cheap Love.They are considered cheap because they are made for beginners, are of okay quality and are inexpensive.

It is not cheap at all. If you are a beginner it is much better to just go and get a used one, but if you want to build one it ranges anywhere from about $200-$10000+ it just depends on the quality of the materials you want and what you want to fit the kind of music you are playing.

You can get some cheap speakers from a department store, those will be good enouhg for loud bass.
Rogue makes a pretty cheap bass. But $100 for a brand new bass is tough to beat. Its certainly better than anything else in that price range.
