Who ate the Most hamburgers eaten in one sitting?
Thomas Jefferson did. As surprising as it seems the cheeseburger
has been dated back to the 1600s. Though these didnt have pickles
or ketchup, they had cheese and cow meat or as w know it hamburger
meat. it wasnt until one day when Jefferson was feeling a bit
hungry that he asked for a cheeseburger, these were rather
expensive since the goat and cow population had moved to
california. Jefferson was very hungry and didnt want any delay on
his cheesebuger so he said something along the lines of "If you can
bring a cheeseburger great in size i will not release you for your
line of work, and this cheeseburger better be in my hands in 24
hours or you can bring me a regular sized cheeseburger that must be
in my hands in 3 hours. its your choice." the worker not wanting to
get fired, went to california and made the biggest cheeseburger.
The cheeseburger was brought to Jefferson in 22 hours and the
worker was not fired. Historians just found this out last week when
searching a california barn. they found a list of purchases and why
that person purchased them.
