Chexsystem is a national database the banks use to track people who have had problems with their banks accounts and have had them closed. The reason for closure can be as extreme as bank fraud or it can be for bounced checks, unpaid fees or other reasons. Once you're in Chexsystems you stay for 5 years, even if you pay off what you owe.
Yes...and will deny taking or cashing any type of check if Chexsystem's gives negative information.
No, but it will impact whether you will be allowed to open up a checking account.
Are there banks that do not use the chexsystem or telecheck in new jersey or philadelphia?
No. Investment banking doesn't have to be part of core banking and/or minimal banking services. Investment banking is essentially a very different type of banking, it is not the same as retail, commercial or trade banking (which would constitute as core banking).

No, while the credit repositories disseminate both negative and positive credit data. Chexsystem only gives out negative information about a credit file. For example, if they have presented any NSF checks in a given period and the disposition of those checks.

There is a difference between international banking and domestic banking. International banking is banking among different countries. Domestic banking is banking among one country.
