Biting and scratching is probably their main offense.

But they are relatively weak so that is why they are so low in the food chain.

They do jump at opponent males though.

They are animals of prey so they use defense.

They piss on the predator.

They also lose fluffs of hair when nervous to deter predators from getting them... sorta like how and octopus jets out ink.
