That depends on the form of government the farm is located under. In socialist or communist governments, it is usually a 'collective farm' with either the government or common ownership by a local group - of which the church may be one.
In smaller, non-industrialized countries, 'sharecropping or tenant farming' are the usual, where the farmers would pay the land owner - which may be the church.
In either case, the Church would most likely own the land under a separate legal entity - corporation, or a d/b/a 501 C3, a 4S Corporation, etc...
It can be called a ranch or a cattle farm.
